MANILA, Philippines — The Chery Tiggo Crossovers had enough fuel to outlast Creamline in a grueling five-set match, 25-20, 24-26, 21-25, 25-17, 17-15, in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Ara Galang took over the wheels and churned out 20 points on 15 attacks, four blocks, and an ace to lead Chery Tiggo to victory.
Creamline held a 2-1 match advantage, but Chery Tiggo remained pesky and pushed for a decider after a dominant fourth set win, 25-17.
The Crossovers were down late in the stretch of the fifth set, 10-7, before pulling a 3-0 rally led by Renee Peñafiel’s offensive prowess.
Both teams played cat and mouse as Michele Gumabao and Ces Robles traded kills that sent the match to 14-all.
Rookie Peñafiel showed bravery over Gumabao and blocked her shot to give Chery Tiggo the match point advantage, 15-14.

Gumabao quickly made up for her mistake and orchestrated a crosscourt attack that tied the match at 15-all., This news data comes from:http://uof-xrex-vokd-fdl.redcanaco.com
